As a not-for-profit organisation, direct mail is a vital channel for us. We need to be able to communicate with our supporters in a cost effective way and, as our Appeals are married to specific times of the year, we need the confidence that our deadlines will be met.
We have worked with COJO for a number of years now and have been delighted with the service. COJO has helped us with our Appeals that generally involve an initial send and one or two follow up mailings. The segmentation is quite complex, often with personalisation based on state and the supporters relationship with our organisation. And pack contents vary for each segment.

The Alfred Foundation is the charitable and fundraising arm of The Alfred in Melbourne. The Alfred is a critical care hospital. It has the largest and busiest trauma unit in the southern hemisphere and treats more than 350,000 patients every year. A government-funded hospital, The Alfred benefits also from the donations it receives from its large supporter base, donations which help fund vitally-needed hospital equipment and facilities. The Alfred Foundation's Direct Marketing Team is responsible for maintaining and servicing the donor database which it seeks to expand through regular Acquisition Mail campaigns.
